Opioid Addiction Help Resources – National, State (OH & PA), and Local Organizations
Often times with those suffering from opioid addiction, their friends and family members feel helpless and do not know where to turn for treatment options, information and support. Because we frequently hear this from our patients, AOC has compiled a list of national, state (OH and PA) and local opioid addiction help resources to get people the information they need and to help them find a drug addiction specialist. The local resources we have included are located near the AOC clinic locations in the following Ohio cities: Champion, Elyria, New Philadelphia, Waverly, Willoughby and Youngstown, and near the following Pennsylvania cities: Clarion and Erie.
Addiction Outreach Clinic (AOC) physicians have specialized training in identifying and treating opioid addiction and leading the path for heroin rehab. Our opioid addiction treatment program starts with a medical assessment and includes Suboxone® treatment, a form of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) used to prevent cravings and withdrawal symptoms. We combine medication with a once-a-month behavioral counseling session to support our patients’ recovery efforts and help them get their lives back.
