Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with Suboxone®

Our team of clinicians and counselors work together to develop a results-driven treatment plan that is appropriate, effective, and individualized to our patient’s needs. Medications prescribed as part of AOC’s treatment program are buprenorphin containing products Suboxone®, Zubsolv®, Bunavail®, and Subtex®. When taken daily, buprenorphine helps to eliminate the cravings and withdrawal symptoms that keep people addicted to opioids.

AOC’s opioid addiction treatment program was created by a board certified addictionologist. We offer convenient outpatient treatment that requires only one counseling session per month. Our results-driven individualized treatment, in contrast to insurance based programs, better enables patients to go about their lives, maintain employment, and be with their families during the recovery process.

We pride ourselves on providing a professional, caring and safe environment, which ensures the best possible outcome for our patients. AOC has guided thousands of patients in Ohio and Pennsylvania along the path of opioid addiction recovery.

Payment

AOC accepts cash, credit/ debit cards, and money orders for payment. Insurance is not accepted for AOC’s treatment program. There are many reasons why self-payment may be a better option for you than an insurance-based program. To learn more about payment for opioid addiction treatment please click here.

Program Requirements

AOC carefully guides each patient through an individualized treatment program in an effort to end their dependence on opioids. This requires the patient to strictly adhere to all steps of the process.

  • Patient must be in mild-to-moderate opioid drug withdrawal (5 on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the worst) at their initial appointment
  • Patient must refrain from heroin/ fentanyl use for at least 24-36 hours prior to their initial appointment at AOC
  • Patient must refrain from ingesting pain pills for at least 18 -24 hours prior to their initial appointment at AOC
  • Patient must refrain from using non-prescribed or “street” Suboxone buprenorphine for at least 24-36 hours prior to their initial appointment at AOC

Family and Friends Counseling

An opioid addiction treatment program has a much greater chance of success if a patient’s family and friends understand what the patient is going through and is supportive of these efforts. While not required, counseling for family or friends can offer additional support. We have counseling resources that we can discuss and possibly incorporate into your program.

Whether treatment is for you, a family member or a friend, we are happy to speak with you about our treatment options. Please read more about AOC, or call us at 330-259-4849, or email us to schedule an appointment – it’s fast, easy and completely confidential.
